Based on your country of citizenship as indicated by your passport, it may be necessary that you secure a visa in order to embark a Disney Cruise Line vessel in the United Kingdom; citizens of some visa-exempt countries will need an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA). Disney Cruise Line will reimburse you for the visa or ETA application processing fee only. You will need to keep the original receipt from the Embassy or Consulate and request reimbursement when you return.
You can use the following links to check if you will need to obtain a visa or an ETA.
UK Visa
To secure a UK Visa, you will need to complete an application online and submit it with the following documents to the British Embassy. Please go to https://www.gov.uk/apply-uk-visa to submit your application.
In addition to the completed application form, you will need to submit the following to secure your UK visa:
- Passport valid at least until May, 2025
- 2 passport photos
- Copy of your DCL contract

- Ship Itinerary
- Support Letter from DCL to the Consulate/Embassy

Crew from the following countries MUST seek assistance from the Procurement Ally through which they applied to Disney Cruise Line previously: India, Indonesia, Philippines, or Nepal. All other crew must contact the British Embassy or Consulate directly for a visa appointment.
If you have questions about your visa application, please contact the Immigration Compliance team via email at DCL.Immigration.Compliance@disney.com.
It is critical that you contact the appropriate Embassy/Consulate or your Procurement Ally as soon as you get home. Processing times will vary from country to country.
