Promoting the health and safety of our Guests and Crew Members is a top priority.
Whether you are starting your contract onboard the ship, in the Bahamas, or in Toronto, it is important you are prepared. Please ensure you review the following information and contact us if you have any questions.
Using the SeaCare Crew Portal for Submitting Health Records
SeaCare Crew Health
Disney Cruise Line uses the SeaCare Crew Health portal for Crew to submit health records to the Medical Services team.
Please access the SeaCare Crew portal, prior to starting a contract, to upload and submit vaccine records, pre-employment medical exams and certificates (PEMEs), and any additional test results (as needed). The SeaCare Crew portal allows for faster processing of medical documents and provides Crew with the option to view the status of their documents via the portal. This will eliminate the need for multiple inquiries on the status of documents. After submitting medical documents, Crew will receive email notifications when their documents have been reviewed and processed.
Register for a SeaCare Crew portal account
Crew Members, both those currently on contract and at home, are strongly encouraged to register for a SeaCare Crew portal account before their next contract if you have not already done so. Crew Members may create an account by visiting the SeaCare Crew portal website: https://dcl.seacarecrew.tritansoft.com
To complete account registration, Crew will need the following information:
After you embark, you will be scheduled for training, which will cover the protocols and practices that are in place on board and at Disney's island destinations, including hygiene, cleaning practices and health screening measures.
Crew Members will be required to follow all health and safety protocols. Based on guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we have implemented multiple layers of health and safety protocols and have capabilities to manage cases that may occur on board.
Health Screenings
Crew Members may undergo periodic health screenings while onboard.
Vaccinations
Flu Vaccine Requirement
• Flu vaccine: As a condition of employment, all shipboard Crew will receive an Influenza or flu vaccination upon embarkation, as needed, during flu season (generally September – March).
COVID-19 Vaccine Resources
In line with the continued guidance of the CDC, it is recommended that all crew members are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and remain up to date with the latest booster.
According to the U.S. CDC and the World Health Organization (WHO), COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective in preventing severe illness from COVID-19. Check the World Health Organization (WHO) site for a list of vaccines against COVID-19 that have met the necessary criteria for safety and efficacy. If you have further questions regarding your COVID-19 vaccination(s), please email DCL-Crew.Medical.Services@Disney.com.
COVID-19 Testing
COVID-19 testing prior to traveling for a contract is not required by Disney Cruise Line; however, Crew are encouraged to check with their airline and destination’s embassy to confirm if health information, departure testing, or other documents specific to their nationality are required to board their flight and successfully arrive at their final destination without travel interruptions or delays.
Onboard testing frequency for COVID-19 may vary by ship, role, and/or other influencing factors that are subject to change.
Face Coverings
The requirement to wear a facial covering for Guests and Crew will be based upon ship and/or itinerary. Requirements will also be influenced by current health advisories. All Crew must be receptive to wearing a facial covering if/when required. These measures are subject to change and will continue to be evaluated and evolve.
As a condition of employment, Disney Cruise Line requires all Crew Members working onboard to receive a flu vaccine upon embarkation during flu season (generally September – March). As part of this health and safety measure, the flu vaccine will be made available for free to all Crew Members upon embarkation.
Crew Members who are unable to receive a flu vaccine due to a medical condition or those who have already received a flu vaccine for this season in their home countries will have the option to decline:
Crew with medical contraindications must complete a Medical Exemption form upon embarkation.
Crew Members who have already received a flu vaccine for this season in their home countries will need to provide documentation from a physician, clinic, or pharmacy to Medical Services or the Island Nurse.
Starting a new contract soon?
Prior to leaving home to start your contract, all Crew must review this health and safety measure requiring all embarking Crew to receive a flu vaccine upon embarkation during flu season as a condition of employment.
Plan to get your flu vaccine at home?
If you prefer to get your flu vaccine while you are at home, you may do so. Please obtain proper documentation from your physician, pharmacy, or clinic that states you have already received a flu vaccine for this season and be prepared to present the documentation to the Medical Center or Island Nurse when you return to work. This documentation will be necessary in order to establish that you have already been vaccinated prior to starting a new contract. In addition, you will need to review this health and safety measure prior to starting your contract.

Always follow safety precautions to protect your valuables when traveling and while ashore. Please keep the following tips in mind while off the ship or traveling to or from the vessel.
Bevigilant in crowded places where tourists and large crowds gather. Airports, metro stations, open air terraces and lines to enter buildings can be attractive locations for pickpockets who are very skilled using distraction techniques.
If you do need to carry a bag, please carry money, passports, and other important documents in a money belt or other secure carrying case.
Do not keep large amounts of cash with you or show money in public.
And remember, never leave your bag unattended and always maintain constant visibility of all bags, backpacks and carry-ons.
Exercising caution, public vigilance, and awareness of surroundings remains of the utmost importance to maintain personal safety.
