As a condition of employment, Disney Cruise Line requires all Crew Members working onboard to receive a flu vaccine upon embarkation during flu season (generally September – March). As part of this health and safety measure, the flu vaccine will be made available for free to all Crew Members upon embarkation.
Crew Members who are unable to receive a flu vaccine due to a medical condition or those who have already received a flu vaccine for this season in their home countries will have the option to decline:
- Crew with medical contraindications must complete a Medical Exemption form upon embarkation.
- Crew Members who have already received a flu vaccine for this season in their home countries will need to provide documentation from a physician, clinic, or pharmacy to Medical Services or the Island Nurse.
