Crew traveling to Singapore: Please review the below information to ensure you are prepared to comply with local requirements once you arrive.
Personal Medication
All Crew are expected to bring a sufficient supply of personal medication to complete their entire contract. In Singapore, you may need to apply for an approval to bring in medications for yourself. Please refer to the Singapore Health Science Authority (HSA) guidelines and regulations to submit for approval at least 2 weeks prior to travel/arrival.

Prohibited substances in Singapore
Prohibited substances such as chewing gums, cannabis and product containing cannabis extracts, are NOT allowed to be brought with you even if you are not clearing immigration. This includes Vaping and E-vaporisers, also known as e-cigarettes, e-vaporisers or vapes; electronic devices that vaporise a liquid solution (e-liquid), and its assorted components. Travellers found with these products or their components can be fined and subjected enforcement actions from local authorities.
Singapore has also identified several adulterated products that are listed in their Illegal Health Product Database. You are also not allowed to bring these products into Singapore.

Tobacco Control in Singapore
You cannot bring in or sell the tobacco products listed here: https://www.hsa.gov.sg/tobacco-regulation/overview/. You are also not allowed to buy, use, or have them in your possession
Cigarettes and Tobacco Products
There is no duty-free concession and Goods and Services Tax (GST) relief for cigarettes and tobacco products in Singapore.
All cigarettes and tobacco products, including those purchased in Singapore with the ‘SDPC’ mark, are subject to duty and GST when brought into Singapore.
Declaration and payment of taxes for tobacco products including cigarettes and cigars
With effect from 1 July 2020, all cigarettes and other tobacco products imported into, sold, offered for sale or distributed in Singapore must comply with the new Standardised Packaging (SP) requirements.
