Renewing Your Medical
You must schedule your medical renewal appointment within 1 week of returning home.
Crew Members who do not submit their medical renewal at least 30 days prior to their return date may have their contract suspended or canceled.
The Pre-Employment Medical Evaluation (PEME) must be completed by a DCL preferred provider in your country of residence and requires several areas of medical assessment to be completed:
- Self-Questionnaire, completed by the candidate, that includes questions on medical history, current conditions/treatment and mental health
- Physical evaluation, completed by a DCL preferred provider, that includes a physical exam, physical capability test(s), vision and hearing tests and dental screening with verification of dental exam in past 12 months
- Vaccinations or confirmation of vaccination/titer for specific diseases
- Diagnostic tests including, but not limited to, blood glucose, blood type, hepatitis B, etc.
- Additional tests or evaluations may be needed in order to complete the PEME, pending the provider’s findings in the initial assessments and test results.
Important reminders
- Disney Cruise Line uses the SeaCare Crew portal to submit health records to the Medical Services team. This portal allows faster processing of medical documents.
- Crew Members must register by creating an account at https://dcl.seacarecrew.tritansoft.com/ and upload their completed medical for review by the Medical Services team.
- Physicians or clinics who are already a SeaCare provider are able to upload documents on the Crew Member’s behalf to the Sea Care Provider Portal.
-
If your uploaded medical is rejected, please be sure to login into the SeaCare Crew Portal to read the reason for the rejection. This will expedite the corrections process.
- Crew Members with questions about the SeaCare Crew portal, please email: DCL.SeaCare@disney.com.
- For questions related to health records or documents, please contact DCL Medical Services: DCL-Crew.Medical.Services@disney.com

Additionally, Crew Members are required to disclose all medications they are taking, including those acquired over-the-counter. Some medications, such as headache tablets containing codeine, may be legal in your country (over-the-counter) but prohibited elsewhere and not permitted on DCL vessels.
To report a change in medical condition or over-the-counter medications, please contact DCL-Crew.Medical.Services@disney.com. Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in disciplinary action including termination.
